I visited sabarimala five times and i want to remove every thing at sannidhanam and raise forest and flower garden around ayyappa temple and kept every thing including accommedation shops and prasadam selling counters atleast at a distance of 2 km from the temple so as to keep the temple pricints clean, green and sacred to get old glory.

Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa

My father made it a point to take me to Sabarimala since I was 5. I've visited Sabarimala 7 times (obviously as a little girl.) The 6 times that I visited, I never could see the deity in full view and in peace. (eventhough I was carried by some one or the other in our group.) It so happened, that on my 7th visit (not knowing that it would be my last), w/o any exaggerration, I got a 15 mins, peaceful darshan of the Lord, w/o any one obstructing my view! That was a sign, given to me by the Lord, that, that was my last time. Till today, I long to go along with my father and brother. If nothing, I've promised myself that I will return to the Lord atleast once post menopause. (May the Lord Bless us all to continue to visit him whenever we want to) And, eventhough I am a forward thinking, progressive woman, who thinks that women are no less than men, when it comes to the issue of not letting women enter the Shrine, I am totally for it, knowing that i have no valid reason for it. Swamiye Saranam Aiyappa!
